Why does dancing have to hurt?
If there's one thing I know about dancing, it's that blisters are unavoidable...
I love dancing and I tried everything to avoid those blisters from developing. I wore a combination of Blister Band-Aids, Dr. Scholl's Moleskin, 2nd Skin Squares, and Eezeefit Sport Booties under my poodle socks. I even tried applying a Friction Block Stick - but nothing helped stop those blisters from ripping my feet apart daily.
And wearing cotton socks did not help.
Irish Dance is a sport. I needed a wick-away, athletic sock for dancing just as I do for running, skiing, and hiking. This realization inspired me to make a sock for Irish dancers that doesn't trap the foot's moisture, cause awful friction, and form horrendous blisters.
I spent my junior year of high school designing, developing, and field testing a sport sock that holds up to the rigors of heavy shoe trebles. After numerous trials, I believe I have found a truly comfortable, durable, breathable, elegant, and supportive athletic sock for Irish Dance.
That is why I say these socks are developed by a dancer for dancers. I am proud to put my name on them and hope you love them as much as I do.
We don't believe you should settle. You are a champion, and your feet deserve to be treated as such.
Best of luck to you.
